What customers say?

“ First of all, thank you to the yakiniku chef and the hostess who served us that day; you made this trip a wonderful ending. The night before leaving Tottori, we found a yakiniku restaurant not far from our hotel. There's parking nearby, but it's a shared parking lot for several restaurants, and some spaces are closed. There's a sign indicating available parking spaces inside the restaurant; if you're driving, please make sure you're parking in a designated spot. The skewers are sold in sets of three, but the menu shows the price per skewer. Please check the rules before ordering. Next, my impressions of the meal: all the skewers I ordered were delicious, especially the perilla, heart, and the newly introduced chicken breast. We finished with grilled rice balls; the slightly charred and crispy surface was delightful, and I was very satisfied. This is a chain restaurant, and I haven't been to any of the other branches, but based on this experience, I would definitely recommend it. My Japanese is at an N3 level, so communication with the staff was smooth. This information is for foreign friends' reference. ”

“ This is a delicious yakitori restaurant. I like that they don't serve an appetizer. The various skewers are delicious, but the Daikichi bowl and ochazuke are especially great as a final dish. ”

“ On the way back to my accommodation, I wanted to have a drink with some skewers, so I stopped by. The staff were very friendly and explained the menu, and the owner was also very helpful! The food was delicious, and the drinks were varied, so I enjoyed each one. I guess there's a reason so many locals visit! ”

“ I had assumed that Yakitori Daikichi would be more expensive than Torikizoku, which is nearby and a regular haunt, but considering the taste and contents, there's not much difference. The chef here got excited talking about our shared love of motorcycling, and served us some delicious sake. He even came out to see us off, which was a great touch. [Revisited on November 2, 2023] The owner remembered that I had visited in March, and served me some sake from Shimane Prefecture. He also told me about the service that allows you to add a raw egg to your Daikichi bowl, and explained to me about the "kokoro no kori" (cocoon-shaped yakitori). I was truly impressed. This restaurant is a little different from other Yakitori Daikichi restaurants, and its spirit of hospitality is alive and well! ”

“ This is ever the best Yakitori shop I have ever visit in Japan over 10 times of travel in different cities of Japan. No further comments other than the best, and CHEAPEST! ”

“ Yakitori is good, but the Daikichi Donburi egg is the best! The rich egg pairs perfectly with the yakitori. \( ᐛ )/ The owner is a motorbike rider, so bikers often come here. They also have a rare tatami room, so it's perfect for large groups. It's a shame that you only get a set of three skewers, which is a bit too much for one person, but everything else is perfect! ”

“ Thanks to Yakitori Daikichi, every evening of my trip was enjoyable! The yakitori and food were, of course, delicious (the shiso-maki, wasabi chicken breast, and yaki onigiri were excellent). Thanks to the energetic owner and friendly hostess, my nights in Yonago were full of joy and happiness :) If you're staying in Yonago, this is a must-visit! ”

“ The manager was cheerful and the atmosphere was great. The yakitori was juicier and more delicious than other restaurants. ”
